- Spend items to move, claim a reward at each node, then settle by rank at the end.

More detail
How it plays
Raft Race keeps the shape of Marathon Party and changes the theme to rafts. Four players spend an event item (skateboards, in the old theme) to roll a distance. Team distance moves forward. Nodes on the course pay rewards, and the event settles by rank at the end.
On a budget
Free-to-play items are limited. Lock in a steady group of four, then spend when everyone is online and the distance actually counts. Don’t roll everything yourself before your teammates have entered.
Rotation / team
Raft Race sits in the rotation slot Marathon Party used. It is still four players. It does not replace Gold Rush or the Horde.
- The five limited events take turns.
- The day before, a team screen usually shows up. Bring friends or people who actually play.
- Island Gold Rush and the Zobo Horde do not use one of these five slots. You can play them alongside the day’s event.
Watch outs
Some advancement trials shared with Fishing Contest let you spend the item in either event. Don’t turn every raft item into distance before you read the trial.
An old Marathon Party guide is only a map of the structure. It is not the raft numbers.
